Client Testimonials

"It’s virtually impossible for me to express just how much love and gratitude I have for my therapist and everyone at Simply Bee. Their kindness, warmth, and caring create such a safe space. The way they is able to connect with kids and allow them to open up is amazing. The help, support, and tools they give my daughter are invaluable and no matter how many times I say thank you it will never be enough. The whole team at Simply Bee is amazing, their guidance and care during intake was so comforting. I can't say it enough, I am thankful to Audrey for creating Simply Bee, building this amazing team, and serving our community!"

"So grateful for Simply Bee! 2 years ago after my son got through some major bumps in his health journey we made our entire family’s mental health a priority. That brought us to Simply Bee. Simply Bee has helped our family cope with many things including the difficulties of having a family member with medical complexities and we are forever thankful."

Child & Tween Therapy

Ages 5-12

Specialties Include: Anxiety | Depression | Self-Esteem | School Refusal | Trauma | ADHD

Most children and tweens will face problems in life that feel overwhelming and distressing. There are times when life stressors turn into anxiety, panic, depression and difficult behaviors. Therapy is a place for young people to feel heard and learn how to problem solve their way through common and uncommon life events.

Through therapy, our goal at Simply Bee is to help children learn how to better cope and communicate. Most times, children do their best learning on the spot through experiences such as role playing, talking out problems and behavior tracking. Our therapists develop activities specifically to the clients’ presenting issues to help keep them engaged.

Sometimes, the entire family needs to be involved to provide adequate support and behavior change at home. In these cases, our experts will ask parents to join a session while other times the child will spend the entire session with the therapist. We strive to find individualized treatment for each child while collaborating with their families to help them develop healthy coping mechanisms, a confident sense of self, and an ability to manage difficult emotions skillfully.

Common issues we help children with include: Bullying, School Stress, Social Issues, Anger Management, Poor Self-Esteem or Low Confidence, Grief & Loss

 Adolescent Therapy

Ages 13-17

Specialties Include: Anxiety | Trauma | Depression | Eating Disorders | Life Transitions

Adolescents face a range of challenges and transitions that can make life feel overwhelming - academic pressures, social struggles, conflicts with friends & family, low self-esteem, and overarching feelings of sadness, anger, or uncertainty. These pain points can lead to stress that impacts their mental health and day-to-day functioning. At Simply Bee, we aim to create a supportive space where teens can talk openly about their experiences, develop coping strategies, and build resilience as they navigate this complex stage of life.

Our goal is to provide them with a toolbox of skills and strategies to lean on as they experience hard moments as well as the ability to communicate their needs and pursue their goals. We know that many adolescents can benefit from the safe, non-biased environment that therapy can provide, and we are here to offer emotional support, validation and compassion.

Our team is trained in evidence-based treatment including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure Response Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy and mindfulness-based interventions.

Art Therapy

Art therapy is a specialized area of mental health that uses art materials and the creative process to explore emotions, reduce anxiety, increase self-esteem, and resolve other psychological conflicts. The American Art Therapy Association states that art therapy can be an effective mental health treatment for individuals who have experienced depression, trauma, medical illness, and social difficulties.

Whether through expressive writing, music, movement or visual media, all arts mediums have the ability to change people’s perspectives, moods, relationships and overall mental health. By combining art therapy with counseling, clients have the opportunity to explore thoughts and feelings while working towards goals such as self-improvement, decreasing distressing symptoms, and increasing healthy coping strategies. Artwork made in session provides a tangible representation of your experiences that can be explored further through imagery and words.

Note: Any artwork that is created in session is your creation and always belongs to you. Your art therapist will not show your artwork to anyone without your permission.
