The purpose of the role of the therapist is to work with clients of Simply Bee’s to meet them where they are at, interview them while evaluating and determining the best treatment plan to move forward.

Key Duties and responsibilities:

  • Each therapist is expected to carry a consistent case load of 25 clients by their 6 month of employment.

  • Assume responsibility for caseload, interviewing, evaluation and development of treatment plans for plans for patients, preparation of discharge summaries and/or continuing care plan.

  • Reinforce clinical services and staff adherence to the practice’s standards, values, and quality of care.

  • Assist in the coordination of communication and program interaction with outside medical, psychiatric, and psychological services.

  • Provide quality care to customers and strive to continuously improve services delivered.

  • You are expected to utilize in-depth- knowledge of clinical specialty to identify treatments, resources and long/short term care needs. You will consult with clinical supervisor as needed to ensure appropriateness of treatment.

  • Participate in mandatory staffing meeting and lead treatment staffing of current cases.

  • Maintains patient confidentiality as directed by AG policy.

  • Consults with the family whenever necessary to facilitate the implementation of the care.

  • Interfaces with all appropriate community resources to implement the care plan (i.e., public sector, educational facilities) as appropriate.

  • Complete clinical charting notes/forms in timely, clear, concise and  thorough manner.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Maintains professional licenses and keeps current with medical literature and CEUs related to appropriate specialty. Attends AG and external training courses as appropriate.

  • Participate in team consultation as needed.

  • Performs all other responsibilities and duties deemed necessary.

  • Work 2 evenings until 9pm, 1 day until 3pm and 1 full weekend day.

  • All clients are clients of Simply Bee Counseling.

  • Facilitate weekly group(s), or quarterly workshop/webinar, or yearly retreat, coordinated through Simply Bee’s Manager of Community Educatio
