Dr. Kitcharoen is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive psychiatric care in a safe and confidential environment. Her philosophy is to focus on the individual psychiatric needs and to offer the most effective means of treatment in a caring manner. She places a great emphasis on working closely with patients and other healthcare providers to develop a dynamic and individualized treatment plan.

Dr. Kenzie Kitcharoen, MD 


Dr. Kenzie Kitcharoen is a board certified psychiatrist. She earned her medical doctorate and completed her residency program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Kitcharoen worked in a variety of settings, including methadone clinics, nursing homes and community centers. She was the medical director of a community center, Asian Human Service, from 2012 to 2015. At the same time, Dr. Kitcharoen established an outpatient psychiatric practice and continues to pursue this path while in collaboration with Simply Bee.
Dr. Kitcharoen makes it a priority to provide adequate education to patients so that they are well informed of their conditions and treatment options. Questions from patients are encouraged, and their concerns are taken seriously and are sensitively addressed. Clinical assessments are performed with a thorough and systematic approach using excellent clinical skills, extensive evaluation over time and up-to-date knowledge of current medical practice.
The goal is to establish a clear, complete and accurate diagnosis that will help ensure the right treatment. Her areas of expertise not only include those listed below, but she has a special interest in working with women on affective issues involving the menstrual cycle, pre-conception counseling while with affective issues, psychiatric medications during pregnancy and peri/postpartum depression and/or anxiety.
