About The Growth & Resiliency Model©

The Growth & Resiliency Model© was created and copyrighted in 2021 by Simply Bee CEO Audrey Grunst, LCSW. It is the foundation of the work we do with organizations, professionals, and schools. This comprehensive five-step model is designed to fuse theory, skill, and knowledge into people's understanding of their personal growth and emotional development. In conjunction with our experts' DEI training, this model allows us to give program participants the knowledge and strategies they need to create aware and inclusive environments.

The theory behind this model is that a growth mindset occurs when you are aware of your internal world, can observe it without judgment, know how to respond instead of react, and can integrate all of that information into the external world effectively. The final step is to reflect on the process, celebrate what went well and learn from what didn't. Through the use of this model, we believe individuals and organizations can create a diverse culture of inclusion where each person feels valued.

What We Solve

Organizations who do not place emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion underperform their competitors, are less likely to achieve their goals, and their members are more likely to feel disconnected, undervalued and unsafe. Connection, respect and safety are necessary to the mental and emotionally wellness of all individuals. Without a focus on these tenets, organizations see significantly higher levels of dissatisfaction and turnover. DEI initiatives provide the unique opportunity to improve the well-being of each individual member and the organizational culture as a whole.

What We Achieve

As emphasis continues to be placed on the necessity of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment, it is essential to empower organizations with strategies and skills to begin culture-shifting conversations. We strive to provide short and long-term strategies that foster an environment where every member feels valued both as an individual and as part of the organization. When people feel as though they are embraced for their authentic selves, they feel motivated to achieve personal and professional goals which in turn increases the success of the organization.
