Back by popular demand, Self-Care Sundays are returning with a fun fall twist! Join us this October 18th for a fall themed workshop for middle school girls to focus on healthy boundaries, goal-setting, mindfulness & self-care.
Sundays can bring a lot of feelings, especially in middle school. As the weekend winds down, thoughts can quickly turn to the week ahead: assignments and activities, changing friendships, social pressures, busy schedules and all the unknowns Monday might bring. For middle school girls already navigating so much change, those “Sunday Scaries” can make it difficult to slow down, reset and feel ready for the week ahead.
In this fall-inspired self-care workshop, facilitated by therapist Emily Plesnicar, LCPC and yoga instructor Stephanie Bersh, E-RYT, middle schoolers will have space to connect with peers, talk through the real-life challenges they’re navigating and build practical tools for managing stress. Emily & Stephanie will pair supportive discussion with yoga, mindful movement and fun seasonal crafts to help girls slow down, reconnect with themselves and head into Monday feeling a little more grounded and confident.
During this workshop your middle schooler will:
👻 Build practical strategies for managing school stress, busy schedules and the unknowns of the week ahead
đź‘» Explore healthy ways to navigate changing friendships, peer pressure and the stress of fitting in
đź‘» Strengthen self-confidence while discovering coping and self-care tools that work for them
