We thrilled to be back for our 2nd Summer Of Self-Care Camp, open to all incoming 7th-9th grade girls!
Self-care is an essential part of strong mental health. For many teens, it can feel challenging to know how to incorporate it into daily life — especially amidst the hustle and bustle of the summer season! This camp is here to support your teen in making self-care and wellness a priority this summer and beyond.
Join us July 31-August 3rd for a week of mindfulness projects, movement & therapeutic crafts focused on values, mindfulness, empowerment and emotional balance. Facilitated by therapist Emily Plesnicar, LPC & yoga instructor Stephanie Bersh, E-RYT, this 4-day summer camp will be a space for your teen to connect with others while building a toolbox of self-care skills and practices.
Through this camp, participants will:
😎 Identify core values and understand their importance in self-care & mental health
😎 Gain knowledge on the benefits of mindfulness and how to incorporate it into daily life
😎 Become aware of skills that increase a sense of empowerment and decrease negative self-talk
😎 Develop an understanding of emotional balance to build acceptance, self-awareness and calm
